Tree-Nation is an ecological project with a focused objective: To plant 8 million trees in the Sahara to fight desertification! Large-scale plantation of trees will increase the land's productivity and re-generate the soil.

Tree-nation is an online community in which you can buy your own tree and become the guardian of a real and happy tree that we will plant in our park in Niger.

Our objective is two-fold:

Primarily environmental, but also closely linked to the humanitarian aid that it will provide in the long term. The project will benefit local populations in terms of welfare, education and farming practices. And that's not all…

The benefits of preventing desertification extend beyond trees to other kinds of plant and animal life. Any opportunity to re-introduce and/or help prevent any endangered species will therefore become an integral part of our mission.

Kandy Perahera : Sri Lankan Pride

Today is the Kandy Perahera, Where Sri Lankans show their pride and culture to the whole world.
Main feature of this parade is that,
Tooth Relic of Buddha is taken Across the Kandy city.
Parade is full of native dances and rituals which can only be found in Sri Lanka.
Parade is also consists of more than 50 elephants.

TNL Rocks : Father of New Rock Culture in SL

TNL Radio is responsible for the SL rock Boom in 1998-2003.

WildFire is the inspiration for many SL rock bands. They started the rock mania among Sri Lankan youth.

Emerging of Sigmata, Independence Square with Damian, Paranoid Earthling, Ezra etc... took SL rock to a new level.

I didn't miss any Rock Saturdays that was organized by Rock Company, I used to love reading the free news letter that was given in every concert.
Those days were the best days of my life where me and my gang used to head bang all night long. I still remember most people exploded when Stigmata comes to the stage.

Unfortunately the SL Rock has become less popular in recent years.

Yesterday at 10.00PM some of our Japanese friends came to Sri Lanka. we were suppose to pick them at the airport but we thought that flight was at 12.00PM, finally they came to our home by a airport taxi.
They will stay here and visit Down South, Kandy Perahera, Kandalama and Sigirya.

But I promise my self that I would one day leave all these behind and find the real truth I seek.
Deep inside I know all these are illusions and will be gone someday no matter what I do to keep them, but I'm too desired to let go.

Day 17 : No Meaning

Most of my life I spent was really joyful. I have nothing to complain about my life, yet I feel a complete vacuum, a complete nothingness in me.

Everybody looking for money, a good family life and happiness. that's why everyone study and work. but is everyone getting what they want?, is everyone happy even they get money or a good family? are we too late when we realize the harsh truth?

"That's how life goes" - Is that the answer?
People have become slaves for them selves. No one is searching for answers.

Day 16 : Never Ending Circle

What this life really is for??? No one has a good explanation. No religion has a good explanation.

For example my current life,
1)I get up in the morning, wash my face, eat something.
2)Go to campus, stay there for a while, learn things that they say can improve the world, Come back home.
3)Eat again, shit, smoke, sleep. and cycle goes on.

Eat/drink -> sleep -> shit -> work

Future Me

Eat/drink -> less sleep -> shit lot more -> sex -> parental work -> work

Why??? Never ending work??? Is this Greed??? Why the suffering??? Why can't we let go???

As my religion says "We should not worry about what or how this life created, we just need to get the meaning of how to end this never ending suffering."
very true, even thinking of a beginning makes me go crazy.
