Airtel In Sri Lanka - Doom Of Other Sri Lankan Telecom Providers?

AirTel is now in Sri Lanka. Lot of advertising going on promoting Airtel, mainly with Kumar Sangakkara and Sharuk Khan. One of my friends told me that they are also giving away free sims. I once saw a upcoming package detail in a advertisement and it was a very competitive package indeed when compared to current packages in Sri Lanka.
I use a Tigo connection and don't want change my number, So I hope that with the competition Tigo will also introduce a pocket friendly package

Citizens.lk - All Sri Lankans Register Here

The Sri Lankan government urge all Sri Lankan citizens to register themselves using the online form in the Citizens.lk website.
I don't know if this new process is practical since most of the people don't have access to internet.
For now Sri Lankan government looking for full support from the people to make this process happen. In the future government will find someway to bring this closer to everyone in the country.
