I'm stuck with 2000 twitter followings

If you are stuck with 2000 twitter followings then you have been a bad twitter user :)
This happens when you do excessive twitter following without been followed back.
To stop unwanted spamming twitter has implemented the rule that when you reach 2000 followings, you can only follow 10% more people than are following you.

What is, why? Now has a custom domain

www.whatiswhy.com is the new domain for what-is-why.blogspot.com
After 2 years of blogging I was finally able to go for a custom doamin name :)
After about 3 days all traffic will be redirected to www.whatiswhy.com

You may ask why do I need a custom domain, many people say varies things but for me it's pure self satisfaction and showing the world my dedication and seriousness for this blog.

Buying a custom domain is very easy with blogspot. You can register a custom domain for $10 (1 year) with Google (godaddy partner). All the setting up will be done for free and you also get a valuable Google App account free.
I will write a separate post on all the steps involved.

What started as a self discovering blog soon turned out to be an addiction.

My PS2 Keyboard Sometimes Stop Working

My New PS2 Keyboard
For sometime now my PS2 keyboard suddenly stop working. After few minutes it starts to work again. I thought this was a virus attack or something like that. I have Kaspersky Internet security 2009 installed and it didn't give any warnings. After some Googling I found out that when keyboards are getting old they tend to act strangely. So I bought a new keyboard, Now all is well again :)

Get a Thumbnail In front of your Google Search Results

Google Preview Kuppiya.com

Google Preview Hello World

This is a cool Firefox addon that will display a small thumbnail for each Google search result along with the Alexa site rank.
Some thumbnails were not updated correctly, for example it shows the old template I used in my news blog. So that means it's not generated on the fly. I think this add-on takes the cached images from somewhere else, Possibly from Alexa.

Can you have Unlimited Bandwidth? NO

Most web hosting companies tell customers that they offer unlimited bandwidth.
If you didn't buy a dedicated server you are most probably hosted in a shared server with lot of other websites. If your website takes heavy traffic they will just block your website from the server saying it will overload the server and take down other websites in the same server.

EVONY - New Free Browser Based MMOG

EVONY is a new massively multiplayer online game. Much like Travian, but the advantage you have is that the game is still relatively new and developing. So you can get in quickly and have a stable colony when the game gets more mature with a large user base.

Here are some screenshots from my game play at EVONY:
